Trailer
In summary based on the research collected from the audience our trailer will be fast paced with quick cuts as the audience believe that this will create more tension and trigger more of an adrenaline rush rather than long takes; especially during the disequilibrium. The main character shown throughout the trailer will be the protagonist and the antagonist will not be fully shown in the trailer, but a glimpse of him will be shown or his body will be shown, but not his face, because this will create more suspicion of who he really is; close up shots will be used to show this. The actual appearance of the antagonist will be influenced by the existing antagonists; Jason and the Clown. The two props which were voted most popular and will be featured in the trailer is a knife and pills, and the structure of the trailer will be non-linear based on the existing trailer 'Sinister 2'. Magazine The audience think that the magazine colour scheme should be red, yellow and black, and the font used should be 'deathrattle bb'. The audience voted for the magazine to cost £2 and thought that the magazine should come out weekly with featuring articles of an interview with the antagonist and other successful horror movies because they are most interesting and will draw the audience in making them want to read the whole magazine. Out of the three titles; Gore, Sabre and Deface, the audience thought that 'Gore' would be the best title for the magazine. The magazine that we are using for inspiration for the layout of our magazine is Empire and Horror Hound, we are going to have the antagonist as our main image using either a close up shot or a mid shot. Poster Our poster layout is going to be inspired by the poster for 'The Conjuring' and for 'Trick r Treat', the audience think the colour scheme should be red, white and black and that the title should be in the middle of the page with the font 'bloodthirsty' and the tagline underneath it. The main image will be a close up shot or a mid shot of either the protagonist or the antagonist or together. The release date will placed in the corner of the poster at the top and the release date will be placed in the middle of the page. |
